Hmmm...

I liked the graphical style, the music wasn't my taste but I'm not reviewing on that. I think it was the over-hyper camera/perspective that really annoyed me as it seemed over-cut and moved around too much. You couldn't tell what was happening at some points. That and the way the stick figures moved. It was more like ballet than kung-fu fighting. It all made for a wishy-washy feel, instead of a hardcore beat-down. I can see what you were going for, but it just didn't come out right, unfortunately.

Brilliance of biblical proportions

I loved it. First you think something bad is going to happen to Mr.Happy morning guy and then nothing happens and you think alright maybe it isn't one of those sick flashes and then you see one little coffee drop and something clicks in your mind as you watch it fall onto his tie and you're about the scream "OH NO!" but BAM! and thats it folks.

Not to mention great graphics. Shee-ow!

This is an excellent example of why Newgrounds is an community for artists to share their work, and not just a bunch of vulgar flashes like some people unfortunately think.

This was a very good piece of animation, and well deserves the front page. Very original, loved the music also. You should make this a hand-drawn animation and present it at an independent art/film festival. Good work.

[Madness Elimination 5]

Grammer, what do you expect it's madness.

I myself am a little bit tired of all these Madness things. I know I can just shut up and go away, but the series is beginning to get old. And not just old, but not as original as it used to be. If you're going to hack out another side-view killfest, at least make it better than the last.

This one pales in comparison to some of the better Madness-type flashes. The killing was rote and repetitive, and there was no cool factor of ultraviolence that it's predecessors had. If you're going to try to make something ultraviolent, at least put in some more effort. I honsetly woulden't be able to tell this apart from any other flash like it, if hadn't used Madness charachters.

Madness was cool becuase of the extremeities and the over-the-top bloodiness. It was, well, to put it simply, madness. This flash however was a step backward, plain and devolved. If the previous Madnesses were a slice of cake soaked in beer, this would be a slice of white bread.

I am not a fan (or really familiar with The King series) but you did a decent job of tormenting our poor friend HAL there. Nice flash, very high-quality audio.
