[Blockhead: Episode 8]

I love BLockhead!!

He's so funny. A very good series. It's funny and lighthearted, idiotic on the surface, but underneath I sense it as an escape or calling to a blissfully ignorant world where we can all be children again and act like the idiot blackhead is. Ignorance is bliss.

Anyway, nice song. Is there anywhere I can download the Ghostmas song?

Lovley

I watched this a long time ago, and only now have I realized it's meaning. He's tired of watching people die. He realizes he doesn't have to wait anymore for that to happen. Very spooky and ambient. I love the background noise.

Nicley directed, put together, piece of work.

Very outstanding job. A perfect match of visuals for every sound. Good song, I loved the simplistic, raw electronic notes, trippy beats, and enigmatic "dodgy" vocals.

The video was great; I only have one criticism, and that is the part near the middle with the yellow eye in the silhouette dripping blood tears; it sort of set me askew, probably because it breaks up the nice clean geometric, robotic tone for the most part of the video. It was a bit too dark, cliched, and human for the video's taste. It didn't fit with the style for me.

Other than that, great style and concept. Not the most original or abstract, but a good, simplistic and well-executed artistry.

lol i guess

i don't know what to say. the joke isn't all that great, and neither is the delivery. Short, shocking (i guess not for newgrounds), and cheap. But is still feel like it was worth the few seconds it took to watch. It made me laugh. I guess thats all you were going for.

Nicley directed, put together, piece of work.

Excellent job. Everything was brilliantly put together and animated. It got a bit ridiculous towards the end, and the entire plot was a bit hard to wrap your head around, but it was good nonetheless, and it was a music video anyways.

Makes me laugh every time

Very foreign, quirky. A bombardment of non-sequitors. It manages to make fun of every stereotype in movies, twists every ending and thing you expect to happen into a nonsensical parody that is delightfully ultraviolent at the same time. Well done.

Lame

I'm sorry, but I cannot see how this got on the front page. Perhaps it contains some element of appreciation that I do not possess, but it was unoriginal, and seemed like another mediocre attempt at making a flash cartoon funny for the sake of it's random stupidity. It was not done well.

It took more than enough time to sit through the extremely long opening credit/title sequence, and midway through I nearly ran out of patience.

One phrase: It's been done.

No point, no humor (nothing that made me close to laughing), and no style other than perhaps the graphics (pictures of real people and such), all accentuated by poor voice acting. It wasn't even obscene or ridiculous enough to be funny in that aspect. Instead it settles down in a gray area neither in the realm of "ridiculous humor" or "serious art." An area that is classically referred to as "lame."

POOR ENDING!!!!

Great series, but ending sucked. I mean, what? Pow. Just like that. "The end."Give me a break. One of the crappiest endings to one of the best flash series? Did you run out of disk space or something? Come on man, I know it supposed to be a sad story, but once you begin to make a happier ending, don't F it all up with something stupid like that. You don't even know who shot him.

It's too cheap an ending, if you want him to die or end the series on a down note, then don't do it cheaply like that. Don't have a sad story, beginning to a nice end, and then a stupid death like that. It makes everything before it seem pointless and insignificant. Or at least have him get hit by a bus instead of being deliberately killed, it just brings up questions. A twist of fate is always better than an act of hate. Especially in a flash like this.
